‘Sovereignty and Non-Intervention: The Application of International Law to State Cyberattacks’

This Chatham House event will take place on 4 December in London. It will bring together policymakers, legal experts and civil society organisations, to discuss how international law regulates cyber operations by States; consider the prospects of progress on these issues by the UN; and assess the value of other related initiatives. The event will coincide with the launch of a new Chatham House research paper analysing how principles of sovereignty and intervention apply in the context of cyber operations.
