Operations Law Course for Commanders and Planning Staff
14-25 October 2002

The APCML conducted its inaugural course for ADF and regional officers at HMAS Penguin, Sydney, in the period 14-25 October 2002. The course, an Operations Law Course for Commanders and Planning Staff, had nineteen ADF and regional officers attending including officers from New Zealand, Fiji, PNG, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The objective of this two-week course was to raise the awareness of commanders and their staff about key operations law issues that impact on contemporary military operations. The three modules of the course were conventional operations, operations other than war, including peace operations, and training.
