Civil - Military Co-operation Workshop
11-13 July 2001
During the period 11-13 July 2001 a Civil Military Co-operation Workshop was conducted at HMAS Penguin by the APCML in conjunction with the Australian Council for Overseas Aid (ACFOA). The Director of the APCML, Prof McCormack, acted as a Facilitator for the Workshop.
About 36 individuals attended representing more than 15 International Organisations and Non Government Organisations and the strategic, operational and tactical levels in the ADF. A feature of the Workshop was the high level of representation which allowed the Workshop to achieve its objective of facilitating a dialogue between key humanitarian and military personnel in the conduct of field operations and in the development of CIMIC doctrine.
